Most training courses focus solely on skills and mainly knowledge and this is why they mostly fail. They miss two key elements: people need to have the right attitude in order for change to take place and this can only happen if they are properly leveraging their work environment.
Attitude
Many believe that attitude or mindset is a given and cannot be altered. This could not be further from the truth. However, modifying it with lasting effects requires a highly specialised approach.
Skills
Skills can be acquired but if they are not practised, they fade into the realities of our busy lives. Only focusing on the key skills that will make a difference everyday will ensure lasting effects.
Knowledge
There’s so much information out there and yet many professionals feel they sometimes do not have the right knowledge about their market, their clients or even their own organisation. You need a map.
Environment
Your work environment to support excellence in service delivery is likely not perfect. The room for improvement is always the biggest room in the house. But better adoption and appropriate use will still improve results.
